Mostly dry then wet race on
Saturday saw Don finishing 1st, Jonathan 2nd and Clement in 4th.
Sunday was all dry. Don ran away with another 1st, while Clement held
off Jonathan until the final lap with Jonathan finishing in 2nd and Clement
in 3rd.
The weekend finishing order solidified the 2007 regional championship
with Jonathan taking the championship, Don came in 2nd with Clement in a
close 3rd.

Great racing over the weekend.
Saturday qualifying saw the top 3 within 4/100th. Don claimed Pole
followed by Jonathan with Clement on the 2nd row in 3rd. The race was
just as close with the top 5 crossing the finish line within 1 second.
Jonathan won, brother Austin in 2nd, with Don in 3rd and Clement in 5th.
Sunday's qualifying saw Jonathan on Pole with Don right alongside while
Clement was in the 3rd row in 5th. In Sunday's race, the front pack
broke away leaving Clement to fend of the challengers. Jonathan came
first again, Don in 2nd, Austin in 3rd. Clement finished 5th, just
2/10th ahead of a pack of 4 trying to get around him.

Under sizzling 100+F weather, we
returned to Buttonwillow after a summer break. The race ran on
configuration #16 CCW. After an strong race Clement finished 2nd on
Saturday while Don's car developed motor problem. Sunday race was even
more intense between Don, Jonathan and Clement, as all 3 took the lead
multiple times at different stages of the race. Eventually Don took
the win just ahead of Jonathan and Clement.

We returned to California Speedway
for the final race before the summer break. The track favored the
higher horsepower pro built motors. After an intense nose to tail
battle, Don who started in 2nd, finished the race in 2nd. Clement with
his crate motor qualified in 10th but still managed to finish in 5th.

The team ventured to Miller
Motosports Park in Toeele, Utah (near Salt Lake City) for the double
national race on their 4.5 mile 23 turn circuit. Don and Clement spent
Thursday and Friday testing and practicing. In Saturday's race, Don
finished 2nd ahead of a train of cars while Clement overtook 2 cars in the
final lap to finish in 5th.
In Sunday's race, Don was running a solid 2nd but pulled out early
because the motor was running hot. Clement battled into 2nd and held a
comfortable margin in that position until the final corner just before the
checkered flag when he also pulled into the pits as the motor ran hot.
Clement finished the race in the pit lane in 6th.

Clement qualified 6th and finished
3rd in Saturday's race while Don DNF due to contact resulting in damage to
suspension. Clement qualified 8th and finished 6th in Sunday's race.
Don DNS due to incident on Saturday. Sunday's race result is
provisional. Engine parts from 1st thru 3rd finisher are confiscated
and are being inspected.

Clement captured pole on Saturday
by less than 1/100th sec with Don off-pole and Jonathan right behind.
Clement won Saturday's race with Jonathan in 2nd and Don in 3rd. The
top 4 were trading lead all throughout the race and were never more than a
few inches apart. Don got pole on Sunday with William, Jonathan and
Clement just 1/100th separating each other. After another intense
race, Jonathan came 1st with Clement in 2nd while Don finished in 4th.

Jonathan, Don and Clement finished
2nd, 3rd and
4th respectively in Saturday's regional race. Don, Clement and Jonathan
finished 4th, 5th and 6th respectively on Sunday's national race.
In the final regional race of the weekend,
after an intense battle, Jonathan, Clement and Don crossed the line
in 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. In fact, 1st thru 4th was separated
by less 0.4 sec at the finish line. For more details,

Over 40 SM took part
in the season opener at California Speedway. Don qualified off pole
for the National event while Clement qualified in 7th. Tight racing
throughout the race with Don finishing in 2nd. Clement was on track to
finished in 5th when he was hit in the final lap and spun out. Clement
recovered to finished in 11th. Don again qualified
off pole in 2nd for the Regional race while Clement qualified in 3rd.
In fact, the field was so tight that 2nd through 8th were separated by less
than 0.2 sec. After another tight race between 3rd through 6th, Don
finished 1st while Clement came in 5th. For more
